Kawan

Kawan...
benarkah kita sedang berkawan
betulkah kita tak pernah berlawan
serasikah kita dalam berkawan
tuluskah kita dalam berkawan

Kawan....
pinta ku... jangan aku ditinggalkan
rayuku.. usah aku kau lupakan..
hatiku.. sukar aku.. untukku.. kau ku lepaskan
tangisku.. bukan kau yang aku hindarkan

Kawan...
biar kering air dikali
biar hujan membanjiri bumi
biar panas sepanjang hari
biar ribut meredah alam

Kawan...
kau... masih kawan yang macam semalam
kau... masih tercatat dihati seperti semalam
kau... masih diingatan... sentiasa diingatan...

Kawan....
hampir sepurnama kita berkawan....
adakah sepurnama juga kita dijalinan 'kawan'

Kawan....
aku... tak mampu untuk berlari mengejarmu
aku... hanya mampu untuk sama berlari denganmu
aku... tahu aku tak mungkin kehilanganmu
aku... tak tahu adakah kau akan kehilangku....

Kawan...
terima kasih... kerana kita pernah berkawan
terima kasih... sebab kita masih berkawan

Friends

Many people will walk in and out of your life.
But only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.
To handle yourself, use your head;

To handle others, use your heart.

Anger is only one letter short of danger
If someone betrays you once, it is his fault;
If he betrays you twice, it is your fault.

Great minds discuss ideas;
Average minds discuss events;
Small minds discuss people.

He, who loses money, loses much;
He, who loses a friend, loses much more;
He, who loses faith, loses all.

Beautiful young people are accidents of nature,
But beautiful old people are works of art.

Learn from the mistakes of others
You can't live long enough to make them all
yourself.

Friends, you and me...
You brought another friend...
And then there were 3...
We started our group...
Our circle of friends...
And like that circle...
There is no beginning or end...

Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is mystery.
Today is a gift.
That is why it is called the present.

Say Something Anyway...

it's december!

I just can't wait for December. I don't know why, but I just love December.. maybe it is because of I was borned on December? oh don't ask me cause I don't even know why!

so today is already December 2nd, where school is starting in a month time. well, school really suck and im gonna sit for the Sucking People's Mind [SPM] next year. man, I'm really scared so I've made a few preparations, and I started to study Add Math.

    believe it or not, I'm now in chapter 2, Quadratic Functions

I simply  love Mathematics, but I cannot really score in those subjects due tomalas-ness. well, that's really what I am, when I'm in the mood to study, I will do it. and when I'm not in the mood, don't ever try to ask me do anything cause I won't do it.

A Trip To Bukit Bendera

On Thursday, my cousin, Ayie smsed me and asked whether I wanna follow him to Bukit Bendera and of course, I said yes! I went there once, when I was  still a small little kid and I seriously can't remember anything about Bukit Bendera until he picked me up. and of course, I was really excited. I went into Azhan's room, took the camera, put it in front of pc, took my wallet[cause I seldomly went out without bringing my wallet and means i didnt bring my IC too] and my phone too. rushed into bathroom and chatted with Kak Novie for a little while, making over-stupid jokes with her and 9.01am sharp, bro Ayie arrived and we straight went to Hotel Sri Malaysia.

went to Bukit Bendera by Bro Ayie's friend, a cute Myvi[My Vision] and straight to Bukit Bendera. as we arrived there, bro Ayie bought tickets and they had some breakfast. [i didn't take any since I already had mine before going out]. our train was on 11.15am so we chatted for 45 minutes at the Cafe. [bro Ayie's friend just got married, so he told us how nervous he was when Akad Nikah time]

      I finally arrive here

It took quite a while to arrive, and I was standing right there with camera's with me, so what else? snap. snap. snap. snap. yep. there's more than 100 pics I took with only 1 pic of myself. haha. yup. I didn't snap much pic of mine, I just wasn't in mood to snap my own pics there. and I tried to take a few shots of Penang Island, but I cant since the weather was quite bad due to haze. [rugi......]  but it's ok, my camera was only 5 Megapixel Canon Ixus 55, so who cares?!

updates!!

it's been a while since my last update...
I was so damno lazy to update this blog... but since now I'm damn bored and don't know what I should do,
so I guess I should update you guys.. =)

like some of u hav known, I went kL from 15th to 17th of November..
reasons? accompany my granny who went to my aunt's house and just going for fun.
ngeeee... and I bought a 2nd Hand Nokia 5210 since I really can't stand without a phone wif me.
here's the pic,

i've been checking out a lot of phones and my final 3 is Sony Ericsson w700i, Sony Ericsson w810i and Sony Ericsson k800i. yup, i've changed my mind not to use Nokia phones because when I compared Nokia and SE's camera with the same megapixels, SE won all the time. so, ive made my decision to buy SE phones. but the thing rite now is, which model? the model i'd really want is k800i, but too much pricy and it worth it. 3.2 megapixel cameraphone, priced at RM 1680 [midland] or RM 1268 [AP], while 2 megapixel walkman phone, both ranged between RM 1006 - RM 1100 [AP] and midland set costs me between RM 1200 - RM 1400. i was thinking of to buy and AP set cause i've been using Original sets before and nothing happened. and i've discussed with a few dealers and they said that AP and Original doesn't have much difference. it was just that the warranty.

so, if im buying the k800i, ive gotta wait till next year, maybe january of february where only on that very moment i'll have my cash for these phones.

i don't really wanna ask my parents for cash since i wanna prove to my elder siblings that i can buy things that i want on my own without asking them cashs.

but i'll ask my mom for some cash for outings/foods/school allowance/etc. hihihi...

that's it for now,
shuhada.

Goodbye Boys

New Page 1

A Bernard Chauly film after Gol & Gincu. A great film to be watched by teenage. 8 Boys, 5 Days, 100 km.

The Story

What happens when a gang of Form Five Ipoh boys embark on a 100km hike to fulfill a King Scouts requirement but come back on the road to becoming men?

Goodbye Boys is a simple journey with complicated realizations. Set in 1990, Malaysia, it is about a gang of pimply guys with raging hormones, undecided ambitions and formative identities. They set out on a grueling 5-day journey through the Kinta Valley – once the richest tin deposit in the world, now an abandoned plain - that changes friendships and selves.

It’s a group expedition with individual goals. The harsh realization is that although we’re a troop/patrol, we’re not necessarily a ‘brotherhood’. Friends are important but eventually, it’s not always about togetherness. Memorable camaraderie, yes, but each and everyone needs to grow up, get real. Stand on your own two feet, walk your own walk.

Some will return mini-heroes, content with being welcomed by their dream dates at the 5th Form Farewell Prom organized by the Ipoh Convent girls. Others will realize that the expedition is the beginning of other things in life… the need to escape a small town to realize… one’s dreams…

When you grow up in any small town, you know that you have to breakaway in order to discover your fullest potential. This is a story that will capture the psyche of a group of young boys on the brink of leaving their comfort zones, in transition… It is a confusing yet exciting time where you wish the possibilities were endless but in reality, you know your escape routes are limited.

Education is your ticket out. It’s a time when your identity, ambition, sexuality is evolving. It is about looking back at a crucial formative period, much of which is reflected within a micro-journey of an expedition. Youth is a time when everything seems exaggerated. A slow dance with your girl means everything. People’s actions and deeds affect you in a big way. Negative emotions in particular seem amplified.

What you were then, what you have become. What you continue to be… Yet we constantly look back. The personal journey of a few that can be understood universally. It is a timeless journey that affirms growing up as being a beautiful tragicomedy.

The Director

Mr Bernard Chauly

Crucial formative years spent in a Mission School run by La Salle Brothers. . . Yet I’ve come to realize that identity is my route, not my roots.  Growing up in small town Ipoh, educated in Malaysia, America and the UK, I feel now is the right time to tell ‘Goodbye Boys’.

Although this will be my second feature film after Gol & Gincu, it’s my first screenplay.  Goodbye Boys is an expedition film, 8 boys on journeys of forming identities, part of larger routes in life. “Education is that which remains when everything else learnt in school is forgotten”, a quote by Einstein I still find relevant. ‘Goodbye Boys’, a semi-autobiographical tale and important aspects the result of ‘that which remains’, now ready to be recounted…15 years later.

Not nostalgic, not sentimental. Ironically real. A route, a universal film story.

Phones I Used Before

the first ever phone I bought with my own pocket money was a 2nd hand Nokia 3310 when I was in Form 1. Used that phone till Form 3, my eldest brother grabbed it from me and broke the screen. He refused to repair nor replace a new phone for me. Till end-of-November 2005, mom bought me a new Zitron Set Nokia 1600 which were only launched for a few weeks. Bought the phone for RM 399.

Early April 2006, I traded in my Nokia 1600 for Nokia N Gage QD (AP set). Bought it for RM 650 including 128mb RS-MMC.

Used the phone exactly 7 months, a buyer willing to buy the phone for RM 450 with 32mb MMC. And now I have no phone. Have to wait till end-of-november till I have extra pocket money to buy the Nokia N70.
